LOVED this preview! Marat's art on Brigade looks a million times better than his stuff on Imperial #1.
Did anyone notice that the ad said something like "Brigade is BACK in 2K4!"?
I know Arcade is a small company, but there are plenty of small publishers who manage to hit their ship dates.

Ill believe it when I see it on Brigade, there was an ad for that in YB: Bloodsport #1 that said 2004 so I am thinking we won't be seeing it. Hell Youngblood: Bloodsport #2 isn't even out yet.

The funny thing is Marat made Brigade long before he ever did YB Imperial #1. I think it looks better myself Jason. Brigade was suppose to be out in 2004. There was even a RARE ashcan of it that you could buy at cons from Rob. So it is sort of done. I dont know what the hold up is. But thats Rob being Rob i guess.

does anyone know who the character in red and black is who kinda has the nightwingish mask. i was thinkin it could be seahawk in a new costume, but if anyone knows who it is and can tell that would be awesome.

Craig, I agree. I think Marat's art on the new Brigade is just BEAUTIFUL The work is truly representative of his great talent.
To me, it looked like YB:Imperial #1 was rushed, so I hope that Marat's art reaches its full potential in #2!

We will see. Rob did say Marat was hitting hard time in life when he was drawing that issue. So hopefully he does get it going for #2, Im looking forward to seeing it when it does come out.

The Brigade pages did look mighty cool. Some of Marat's best stuff if you ask me. As long as we eventually see it I can wait it out

Marat should be doing Nightwing. I mean, Phil Hester is good but stick Marat on 'cause thats what Nightwing needs, an artist which can successfully represent Dick's acrobat history and his hero present in their art, and that person definately is Marat. Boo DC! Ya screwed up again!
